Kohta is located at Teurastamo, the old abattoir yard and Helsinki city wholesale market area in the Helsinki neighbourhood of Kalasatama. Kohta’s exhibition space is on the top floor of a 1980s industrial building.
When approaching from Työpajankatu, enter Teurastamo through the Teurastamo gate (Teurastamon portti ) and you will find Kohta on your right when entering the gate, neighboring SLO and Merilux.

- By bus: buses 55, 56 and 26, bus stop “Tynnyrintekijänkatu”
The Teurastamo events yard is off limits to cars and cannot be used for parking. Parking spaces can be found along nearby streets and at the Wholesale Market.
Unfortunately, Kohta is not fully accessible. We advice visitors with physical disabilities to contact the gallery before their visit.
